Baby wearing is such a beautiful way to develop a close connection with your baby. It also is very practical and allows me to grocery shop, walk, snuggle, etc. while wearing my baby.
Baby-wearing is largely about convenience for me right now. I have twin 3-year-olds, and the more hands free but close to the new baby I can be, I think the more smoothly things will go. It will allow us to go on outings, etc and to do things together at home. I’ve been looking for a comfortable way to carry the new baby (due July 2nd), since the slings I had from before never quite worked for me.
Baby wearing is essential when you have three kids three and under (or soon to have). I wore my second constantly because he was super colicky and it was the only thing that soothed him. I’m hoping number three is not colicky but I foresee wearing him the only way I’ll get anything accomplished with three.
Baby wearing helps to establish a good breast feeding routine by ensuring that my little one is never far away. Breast feeding can be difficult at first, so it’s even more important to me to keep the baby close to me during those first few crucial weeks and months when the baby and I are getting the hang of nursing. Not to mention the hands it frees up, so I can deal with the rest of my brood!
I would love to carry my grandchild in a moby.
Would love a moby for Isaac due in July
Would be nice for grandson due soon.
Love the feeling of closeness you get from wearing your baby, plus since our new babe will be our third, being able to wear her is a necessity :)!
I love my Moby Wrap because it lets me keep my little Charlotte close while I can still love on my two year old Emmett…he needs lots of loving since she came around 🙂
I love the closeness of baby, but I also love the convenience of having my hands free. Going to the grocery store, the zoo or even just a walk (we have a large dog) lets Everly see the world and experience it while I grab barbecue sauce off a shelf or keep the dog from chasing a squirrel. She loves being close, too, I think she’d rather be in the moby then the stroller!
I have been trying to buy a used moby wrap for the last two weeks, but with 6 weeks old Theo to tend to, I have not been able to seal the deal with any of my leads. I love being Theo’s mom and think that the wrap would povide a good opportunity to bond with him while making it easier to get things done around the house and around town, which your previous post confirmed. I am intrigued how you nurse with the moby too. Thanks!
Baby wearing is important to me for bonding with my soon-to-be baby and ensuring that he/she feels the security of being close to me — kangaroo care. Also for helping the baby regulate his/her body temperature and of course, freeing up my hands to get things done.
I’m looking forward to using the moby so that I can cuddle, bond and breast feed my newborn while chasing after my sweet but very active almost two year old. I found baby wearing to be a wonderful way to bond with my first and used a Bjorn with my first. The moby seems like such a more comfortable and functional way to go.
Baby-wearing was the only way to sooth our little guy in the beginning. Both my husband and I spent a lot of time with him on our chests.
I really want to try a Moby-style wrap. I liked the idea of making my own, but I haven’t had the time.
Baby-wearing allowed me to stay on top of home-loving while my son was little, not to mention the beautiful feeling of having him so close and snuggled up against me in the winter months when he was teeny tiny. :~) I’d love a Moby for any future babies!
Being able to be close to your baby is the best! I’d be lying though if I didn’t say that with two young kids, and the third on the way, a wrap doesn’t make life a little easier ( ; With my first two I had a sling that really only worked well in the newborn stage, so I would LOVE to be able to try the Moby-style wrap which I’ve heard great things about!
I’m still learning about all the wonderful products out there and your post on the Moby wrap was very helpful. I can’t wait to try baby wearing with my first child, due this fall!
Baby wearing is important to me because, from what I have read, it can assist with the early building of a child’s self-esteem because of the closeness to care-giving adults that, over time, can instill an important sense of trust in others. This safe, secure feeling for the child can become a strong base from which he/she will later feel confident to stray from as they grow to become an independent person. Something I feel important for all children!
Baby wearing is important to me because it makes my baby feel safe and loved.
I like wearing my baby when going to the store, it makes shopping alot easier, its important to make baby happy and calm.
Increases trust and closeness
I love to wear my daughter when I’m shopping! I don’t have to worry about walking away from the cart when she’s not in the cart!
I love wearing my son just because I like having him close. But also it is nice because I can get stuff done and hold him at the same time! Never did this with my other children and I’m sorry now that they didn’t really have this type of carrier, atleast that I’m aware of, 11 years ago when I had my first.
I like the convenience and practicality of having them so close to you.
Baby wearing is important to me to have a close bond with my child.
I started babywearing because I like the closeness it brings with your baby, and now with 3 under 5 it leaves my hands free to wrangle the other 2 🙂
Baby wearing is important to me because it keeps my child close to me. I also love the fact that it makes shopping hands free and easy with little ones!
I like babywearing because it allows my baby to be close to me and “participate” in whatever I’m doing.
I’m still *learning* how to babywear, but I like it so that I can have my hands free to actually get something done, lol
Babywearing is important to me because it keeps the little ones close
encourages continuous bonding!
Love the ability to be hands-free while holding baby
Babywearing is important to me because I love having a special and close bond with my children and I feel babywearing (and breasfeeding and co-sleeping for that matter!!) help me to achieve that. My kids are my world and I love having them so close to me!
baby wearing is important to me because im a single mom and its the only way to get things done sometimes! and i feel safer having my baby close to me rather then in a stroller! 🙂
Baby Wearing is extremely important to me. I have two other children, ages 4 1/2 and almost 3, and our new baby girl is due mid-July. I won’t be able to hold my baby, but I can wear her in a wrap and keep her close to me. I would also feel safer having her always with me, verses in a bassinet or stroller. It’s also an easier way for me to make sure she is safe from her older siblings, and an easy way to get housework done.

I love having my baby near me at all times. I hate putting them down! And it’s so comforting to know that they are ok and breathing.
baby wearing is important to me to be close with my baby, encourage bonding and helps me get things done around the house!
Babywearing is important to me because I know I will be really busy when baby is born chasing around my 20 month old. Being able to care for them both at once will be important.
With Baby #2 on the way, baby wearing will become a way to bond AND add a little convenience to our lives 🙂
I just feel babywearing is a more natural and loving way to keep my baby with me. Plus it’s more convenient for me when out and about – no bulky stroller to get stuck on curbs or corners in stores.
Since the first few months of little ones lives are often referred to as the fourth trimester, it just makes sense to have them snuggled up so close to us. With our second on the way, I’m hoping it allows for some free hands to play with our two year old!
I believe it’s important to have your baby with you as much of the time as possible. And being hands free is great!
I think that baby wearing is important as it allows bonding between the child and the parent. I have heard baby wearing referred to as the fourth trimester, and is important in the baby’s development.
I have three little children of my own and wearing them close to me, especially by the time I had the 3rd, meant I could have special time with my baby and still be an active Mom for my other two.
I would love this for my baby that’s due in november!!!
I love having my baby so close to me as I do daily activities
Looks great! I’m in!!!
I lI’ve wearing my baby for the closeness and having an extra hand. Worla great shopping and when going anywhere with my other kids.
I love baby wearing because of the closeness between you and your baby while still being able to play with your toddler.
Baby wearing is about convenience, bonding and the fun of showing of your little one where ever you go! I have been eyeing the Moby since before I even got pregnant with #2 due Thanksgivng Day!
I love babywearing because of the closeness it gives me to my daughter and allows me to get some things done!
I used a couple carriers when my son was younger and never found one that was just right. I recently stumbled upon Moby wraps and I am dying to drive it with my preemie daughter. It is important for me to keep her close to me with her being a preemie. Plus it wouldn’t hurt having two hands with my two year old running around!
Babywearing is important to us because it will encourage bonding, make our baby feel safe, and allow us to connect. Very much looking forward to wearing our first baby in a Moby this August!
I love babywearing because it makes it easy to accomplish tasks all while being close to your child.
Baby wearing is important to me because not only does it develop a closeness with my baby but i believe it soothes her as well. Babies tend to lay down the majority of the day and to have her close to me and being held is essential for our bond and her development. My arms can only hold her for so long before they get tired and a wrap can make it easier for both of us to enjoy our bond.
I love baby wearing! It is such a great way to bond with your baby. And it never hurts that you have your hands free while you do it 🙂
Babywearing is important to me because of the need to be able to take care of older children and be “hands free” while also keeping the baby close enough to monitor. I don’t like my infants sleeping super far away somewhere by themselves. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable to have them close to me, so I can monitor breathing and just keep an eye on them and still get stuff done. It just gave me a peace I guess.. I loved it so much, I never even bought a stroller with the last one. She was always worn until she could walk by herself.
Well, I’m pregnant with my first child, but several of my friends use Moby wraps. I’m hoping that it will help develop a bond with my baby while I can go about doing other things.
I love Babywearing because it gives baby attention and closeness while I can still tend to other activities and tasks. It’s a win for everyone!
to be close to baby
I didn’t wear either of my first two babies, but I always wanted to. With this being my third and last I know I will be wanting to hold him close for as long as possible.
The bonding factor is key. I’m thinking especially with my second child, due in August, it will be important to have her near while I chase around Max. I’m dying to try the comfort of Moby-baby-wearing!
Baby wearing is important to me because it comforts my baby #1 and #2 it promotes bonding <3
Babywearing gives you such a great connection to your child!
I love babywearing! It’s a great way to snuggle with my daughter while we run errands, it helps me get stuff done around the house when she needs mommy-time, and it is a sure-fire way to get her to take a nap!
I love the closeness and it’s definitely important if you want to get anything done requiring 2 hands!
I love babywearing. it allows me to be handsfree during the day with my baby who wants to bet held all the time!
I love baby wearing because it keeps my little man close to me. I love to be able to snuggle with him anywhere we go and anything we do. (:
I wrapped my babies, then gave the wraps away to other mums once mine grew too big. Now we are being blessed with two grandbabies 🙂 I’d love to share babywearing with my daughter and daughter-in-law
Babywearing is important to me so my baby feels close and I can get stuff done
I want to be close to baby.
i love it because i can be close with the baby and get things done!
I love baby wearing because it gives my little “Miss Independent” her freedom & makes her feel like she is “big”& I can get things done.(3 month old who loves to sit up but still needs support) She is my perfect accessory!!
I could definitely use a Moby Wrap!
The moby would be awesome because I am under 5ft and petite and have been looking for a comfortable, pain-free way wrap to fit me so Iccarry my newborn baby close and breastfeed. Also it would be great to be hands free!
I love baby wearing my kiddos! It’s convient, fun, sweet, and special. I love when my little girl falls asleep. It makes the bond even closer.
