Bath Toys A Homemade Mother Can Love!

One of my most favorite parts of everyday is the kids’ bathtime.  It comes at the end of the day, and at this time Evie and Mack are usually ready to start winding down.  They are so happy to play in the tub, and I am so grateful for a few quiet moments when I can just sit and enjoy being a mom.  During their bath, they are contained and content – something I don’t experience at any other point during our busy days.

With all that said, I am always looking for suitable toys to toss in the tub to keep them occupied.  The kids have a few toys designed for the bath, but most of the playthings floating in the bathwater were intended for the beach or my kitchen.  So, when my friend Adrienne sent me some information about bath toys produced by Hevea I was immediately intrigued.  Hevea makes 100% rubber products that are BPA, phthalates and PVC free – a good thing since my kids love to put toys in their mouths.  And, I happily discovered that Hevea toys don’t have a hole on the bottom like most bath toys have – have you ever seen the news reports about the icky grime that builds up  inside conventional bath toys??  Ewwwww!

Evie and Mack are thrilled with their new Hevea toys.  The soft and squeezable little duck, fish and frog are adorable additions to our bathroom.  I wasn’t at all surprised when Evie had them kissing each other and Mack treated them like an after dinner snack.
