It seems like there are memes galore about parents needing a drink during this shelter-at-home time of life. While I certainly don’t judge a parent needing a break at the end of (yet another) long day, alcohol just isn’t really that important to me. Honestly, the best way for me to unwind is like 45 minutes by myself. And, an episode of “90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days” (thanks to my sister Meghan for introducing that Dumpster fire to me).
I’m not a daily drinker but I am an occasional drinker. A can of mango White Claw usually suffices when at home, and I love a good cocktail when out at a restaurant. Lucky for me, Chris is a very good bartender and he’s always happy to make me a drink. He knows I don’t like things strong and I don’t like the actual taste of alcohol. This drink he came up with the other day was perfect: refreshing and light and delicious!

Great idea! I’ve been juicing the citrus that’s about to turn bad, combining it with a little silver Casamigos, shaking it with ice and pouring it in to a fancy glass. Last night was an orange, two clementines, and two limes. Delicious, refreshing, and lots of Vitamin C!
