Poor little Vivian.
She’s got two sharp and nasty teeth pushing through her top gum, and for the past week she just hasn’t been her normal cheerful self. She’s been grumpy and inconsolable at times, a far departure from the cheerful disposition we’re all used to. She wants to wear snuggly pajamas all day, and if I even try to stop holding her she pitches a royal fit. Sad little dumplin’.
With the pain in her mouth, she’s been reluctant to eat any big meals. I believe that food can be our best medicine, so the other day I mixed up a healthy and nutritious shake for Vivian. With a serving of dairy and a few servings of fruit and veggies, it was an easy way to give her body the healthy boost she needs to get through this teething stage.
Sure enough, she drank TWO servings – and offered us an afternoon of smiles and fun once she finished!
The teeth finally pushed through her gum the other night. What a relief (for her and me)!
