Four weeks ago I wrote about our search for an ideal sleeping set-up for our then un-born baby.  Flash forward 29 days and here I am writing an update to that post.  Much to my delight, the ArmsReach Co-Sleeper Bassinet we settled on has been a wonderful addition to our room.

As my husband says, the ArmsReach Co-Sleeper is “literally awesome.”  Vivian is practically sleeping with me, but I can rest easy knowing she is safe and secure in her own space.  She has been a finicky sleeper – sometimes her “awake” stretches at night last for HOURS.  But, thanks to the co-sleeper I don’t have to get out of bed to tend to her.  She is right there – within arms reach!

Because we co-slept with Mack when he was a baby, I know how special and cozy that choice can be.  I loved having him in bed with us, but after tragedy struck our friends, I knew in good conscience I had to find a safer solution.  The ArmsReach is specifically designed to simulate the co-sleeping experience.  It is easy for me to nurse Vivian while we are both half-asleep, and I feel like we are bonding by staying so close to each other.

And, if I do say so, the ArmsReach sleeper we settled on sure is lovely to look at.  We have the white sleigh bed, and it is sweet and charming.  Just like my little Vivian!
