Before the twins arrived, I gently prepared myself for what I thought was inevitable: that I wouldn’t produce enough milk for two hungry babies, and I would have to rely on formula to supplement. Breastfeeding was a choice I made for my first four babies, and it was a delightful, easy and comfortable part of my baby rearing routine. I was scared that something so familiar wouldn’t work for twins.
Fast forward nearly six months, and I am proud to say that my babies are still exclusively breastfed. I am fortunate that my body accommodates their requests, my husband supports the choice and the city of Chicago lets me feed my babies anytime and anywhere. I know it doesn’t always work for some women, and that’s why I believe that FED IS BEST.
Now that I am back to work a couple days a week, I have to pump. A lot. But I have to be super productive on my days in the office, and I just don’t have time to pause my momentum to pump behind closed doors. For the first few weeks I tried to work while pumping by awkwardly balancing the bottles on my knee while typing. Not fun. Not comfortable.
Lucky for me, I discovered the Simple Wishes Signature Hands Free Pumping Bra. Thanks to this gem, I can pump while having full use of my hands and arms. When I wear this bra, I literally get two things done at once: provide milk for my babies while providing for my babies!
The Simple Wishes Signature Bra is so so so so so comfortable. It quickly zips on over my regular nursing bra, so I don’t have to wear it all day (just while I’m pumping). The super soft material gently hugs my body, keeping the pumps in place. I no longer hunch over, rest the bottles on my knees or struggle to keep the pump properly positioned. The Simple Wishes bra makes pumping a lot less stressful and annoying.
For women who choose to breastfeed, pumping is often an inevitable fact of life. And, let’s be honest: pumping sucks. Thankfully, Simple Wishes created a hands-free pumping bra that gives moms the freedom to get it all done.
